As part of the Advantage Austria booth at IT-SA 2025, AIT showcased the AURORA KMS for quantum key distribution networks.
Our QCI-CAT partners X-Net an QKD and PQC enhanced Video call based on Jitsi on the application layer. Also as a QCI-CAT partner, Cancom provided a QKD and PQC VPN Arnika retrieving keys from the AURORA KMS. For the QKD layer, a ThinkQuantum QKD system was used.
The expo was a huge success and fostered exchange with a digital security aware audience and different experts in the field. It further showcased the technological advancements at AIT related to QKD technology.
