The Vienna Quantum Tech Days were held in the historical town hall of Vienna. Since most QKD equipment was either still in at the ECOC 2025 or on their way to IT-SA 2025, this showcase was a bit smaller.
Here three nodes composed of a ThinkQuantum link and a virtual link were used alongside virtual applications. The AURORA KMS showed its slim resource footprint and efficient programming, since the three instances had to run on a single laptop alongside the SDN framework, UI etc.
While this showcase was smaller and a bit more improvised, it showed the deployment agility of the KMS. The event was very important to connect to local policy makers and networking in the very active Austrian quantum technology community.
