Within the scope of the DISCRETION project, as the last showcase in Vienna within the project, the KMS was showcased at the BMLV. Together with the Cipher machines developed within the scope of DISCRETION, the showcase featured the KMS in a three node deployment.
The showcase was just a few days before the final demonstration in Lisboa, therefore the QKD links of DISCRETION were not available, since they were already on their way to the other event. Further the SDN solution by Nextworks and Telefonica was not part of this showcase. But AIT substituted the Quantum layer with a ThinkQuantum link and one simulated link. For the SDN, the AIT internal SDN solution was used. With this a three node setup was created, where the cipher machines were deployed on the first and last node.
